Best Gloves Ever!
January 7, 2020
These gloves are warm! I rode this past weekend in cold weather and never had an issue. I actually had warm fingers at the end of the ride. The gloves are pricey but worth the investment. They are a bit bulky, but that's to be expected with cold weather gloves. Definitely a necessary addition to the Gerbing jacket. Big fan here!
Pros
  • Very warm...very
  • Fingers do not get cold
Cons
  • Price is high
  • Bulky

Very High Quality
January 13, 2019
Just received my EX Pro gloves. Plugged then in and wow instant heat. Gloves seemed to be well made and fit comfortable. I have been using Gerbing gloves for the past 9 years with no issues. My friend has the G4 gloves in size Large. My new EX Pro are size Extra Large and with one of each on they both feel the same size. Definitely would recommend these Gloves especially if you can get them while they are on sale.
Pros
  • Feel very soft inside
  • Seem to be insulated very good
  • Nice looking glove
  • Looks like the outer shell will be very durable
Cons
  • Not really a con but the XL size seem to be same as Large in the G4 glove. Maybe it's just me.

Well made, and toasty

I have bikes with heated grips, but there are days that either it's cold enough that the grip heat doesn't reach you, or you're on a bike that your hands are more exposed. Those are the situations I got theses gloves for. They are very nicely made, with solid stitching, but no seams that intrude on your fingers or palms. They have a good amount of insulation of their own so that the heat gets to and stays with your hands. There is some bulk, but no more than I would expect for a non-electric glove. Do you have the same dexterity as with summer or cool weather gloves? No, but to heat and be that thin would be a mighty big ask. It takes a little practice to get the power leads where you want them. Once connected, they do get warm. Well, VERY warm, very quickly. The advice from other EX glove owners and from TWS that you get a controller for the gloves is absolutely true. Operated at full bore these will roast your digits. With the power dialed-in, it's God's own warm breath. All in all I think they are an absolute value and a near must-have for cold weather motorcycle travel (or whatever your cold-weather exposure is).
Pros
  • Fast heat up.
Cons
  • None.

Should Do The job

Gloves are warm even without power. Rode in the mid 40's without power and didn't feel anything one way or the other. Hands were just the right temperature. Have only connected them to power while sitting on the bike in the garage. Heat was pretty much instantaneous. After a few minutes at full power I was sweating overall. Decided I'd best pick up a heat controller. Tour Master Synergy 2.0 Dual works fine with the gloves. Seem like they'll be just fine when the temps get into the 30's and below. Not much in the way of protection, but wasn't really expecting it. A layer of leather in the palm and on along the outside of the pinkie and hand, and a 1 x 1 1/2" TPU? pad on the outside base of the palm (black rectangle, not like the picture). Minor 1 1/4" square foam? pad at the base of the thumb. Another similar, narrower pad along the outside of the pinkie. I wear an XL in REV'IT gloves which fit perfectly, so went with the XL per reviews that stated the EX Pros ran small as compared to US brands (more like Euro sizing). A little snug when first pulling them on, so I think the XL was a good choice there (have loosened up a little since), but the finger and thumb sizes vary quite a bit. Thumb is good, index finger is pretty good, ring finger is close (just a little too big), but the middle and pinkie are pretty far off. Middle about 3/4 of an inch, and the pinkie about a 1/2 inch too long. As the thumb fits well, I'm not too concerned about the fingers. Just pointing out the differences. Good flexibility, and no problem operating the controls. Overall seem like a well-made glove. Look forward to giving them a thorough workout this Fall/Winter.
Pros
  • Warm! Well-made.
Cons
  • Finger sizing a bit off.

Heated Gloves
January 12, 2018
So far I have only used the gloves one time and it really wasn't freezing out. Once I turned the gloves on, the heat came within seconds. Not only the palms were heated but also the fingers. I am, so far, very satisfied with these gloves.
Pros
  • Heats entire hand. Heats in seconds.
Cons
  • None so far.

Plug and Play
December 13, 2017
38 degree 20 mile midday ride (December in Ohio) the day after the gloves arrived. Good test. With the Gerbing heated jacket liner and these gloves, the control was on medium (single for both gloves and liner) and the cold didn't make a dent. Gloves plugged into the last-season liner just fine. The one issue, mentioned in another review, is that I was wearing a HD leather jacket and the sleeves on that are the same diameter as the cuff on the gloves. Difficult to stuff the glove under the jacket, jacket would not fit over the glove. A gauntlet of some sort would have been helpful. Other than that one thing, these gloves are great and a part of the fall kit going forward.
Pros
  • Fit well, flexible, easy plug and play, warm even unpowered.
Cons
  • Cuff tight over jacket cuff.

Great Gloves!
November 23, 2017
Easy install. the smaller fuse blew immediately so I put in the 10 amp fuse. No problems yet! The gloves are very warm. The Thinsulate works good without plugging in down to 40 degrees. The outside temperature needs to be lower than 40 in order to not get too warm! The temperature controller would take care of that problem though.
Pros
  • Good value
Cons
  • Needs a removable liner to dry out sweaty insides to stay fresh. I use a thin pair of gloves as a liner and put the heated gloves over them. I ordered extra large should have ordered 2X. the gloves fit small.

Very Warm and no more cold fingers
November 15, 2017
I have been riding with heated grips and yet my fingers still got white cold. I bought these gloves and no more cold fingers. The fall I was able to do a 164 mile ride in the upper 30's. This was the first time I have been able to do a ride like this ever. My hands and fingers were warm the whole time even at speeds of 70 mph.
Pros
  • Fits very well, gets warm within 10 seconds.
Cons
  • None

Nice addition the matching SUIT from Gerbing
June 21, 2017
I had purchased the suit last year and waited for the gloves. After wearing the suit all winter riding in WVa. I decided to get the gloves. I tried them on and they fit great. I wear a 2x typically, tad small, it "FIT" but I like more of a loose fit, personally would have gone up one size. Hope this helps.
Pros
  • Nice Glove and it Matches the Jack.
Cons
  • Cuff, not sure what to change but cumbersome....I guess is the work. not a deal breaker.
