they work
December 5, 2022
I bought these for winter bicycling, no shoe and sock combination kept my toes warm on 3 or 4 hour rides at 20-30F. I've have Gerbing 7v motorcycle gloves for years that are excellent and am happy to report the socks seem even better. Very even warmth, I can wear non insulated boots and my toes stay happy in 20 degree weather on the 2nd of the 4 heating levels. Battery life is no problem but I'm only wearing them for 4 hours max.

Love my socks...owned since 2014 and still working
December 10, 2020
I fly fish and hunt a lot, so these socks get used a lot. Regardless if I am in the river or sitting in a deer stand, these socks keep my feet warm! I have owned these socks since 2014 and have used these socks HUNDREDS of times WITHOUT FAIL! These socks are definitely WORTH the $300! I would bet that all of you have spent more than $300 on soda in year so stop asking yourself if you can afford it or if its worth it. Even with the lines, these socks are not bulky and fit easily into my hunting boots and fishing waders. The batteries are very reliable and after having rechared these hundreds of times, they are still working strong!
Pros
  • Thin socks
  • Reliable batteries
  • Durable wires

Warranty sucks
November 12, 2019
Hubby bought me for hunting from the warming store through Amazon Christmas 2017. I wore 2 months during hunting in 2018. It’s now 2019 and I’ve worn out hinting maybe a dozen times. One sock has no connection. Won’t heat. For the price I won’t do it again. Since pretty much no store is an authorized dealer of Gerbing it voids the warranty.
Pros
  • Kept my feet ok so I could make it through a all day sit.
Cons
  • Battery goes quick, one sock died warranty won?t cover warming store amazon ship purchase. No one sells individual socks. Pricey.

I've tried a lot of different heated socks over the years. None of them have worked well. You can actually feel the heat from these socks and the heat lasts as long as advertised. Great product. Would recommend to any outdoor enthusiast.
Cons
  • If you plan on being outdoors all day, you may want to pick up an extra set of batteries.

Heat for Seniors
December 24, 2016
So far the socks have kept me toasty warm on the very cold mornings here in Wisconsin. I use them with the leg cuffs. So far the cuffs have been stable and not slipped down while walking. I use these when I walk my dog. I also use a pair of regular socks on top of the warmers. Battery heated gloves to make my time outdoors bearable are also used. They are a little putsy to prepare and don, but that is the price you pay when you live in a cold climate. These were a gift.

Great socks!
December 23, 2016
The socks are very warm. My feet can actually get too warm on the highest setting. It really makes being out in the cold bearable. It's amazing how warm feet keep the rest of you comfortable. Definitely worth the investment.
Pros
  • Keeps you warm not matter what you are doing.
Cons
  • The wires near the ankle can hurt if you don't get them lined up well on your leg
  • The material seems delicate so you have to make sure to avoid snagging them
  • Wish there was a way to wash them
